Pheasant's Tears Chacha
Chacha is Georgia’s traditional grape pomace brandy, and Pheasant’s Tears crafts theirs with the same artisanal philosophy that guides their wines. Made by distilling the skins, seeds, and stems left over after fermenting native Georgian varieties—typically Rkatsiteli or Saperavi—the spirit is double-distilled in small copper stills and bottled unaged, allowing the raw material and terroir to shine through.
Crystal clear and fiercely expressive, this Chacha offers bold aromatics of wild herbs, crushed grape skins, white pepper, and sun-dried hay. On the palate it is powerful and clean, with flashes of citrus peel, anise, and vineyard dust. The texture is oily but lifted, finishing with warmth and persistence. Rustic yet precise, it’s a pure expression of Georgian distilling tradition—fiery, earthy, and resolutely place-driven.
