Weingut Malat, founded in 1722 and based in Palt in Austria’s Kremstal region, is a historic estate now led by ninth-generation winemaker Michael Malat. The 50-hectare winery produces elegant Grüner Veltliner, Riesling, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay, and is recognised as a pioneer of estate-bottled sparkling wine in Austria.
