Eleven Sons Wines

Mitch's decision to name the winery Eleven Sons is both a Kafka reference and a Kafkaesque reference. The Kafka short story Eleven Sons is itself a metaphor for Kafka and his unfinished works, in particular his short stories, with-which he finds faults and complications to agonize over. Mitch is thus using the winery name to draw his own metaphor with regards to his own work. Quite highbrow and stuff, often also applied to the names of his wines (see "Oceanic Feeling" or "Critique of Pure Touriga").

Mitch's winery is based in Torquay, and he makes wine on the Limestone Coast, but also sources fruit from the Pyrenees and Heathcote for several wines. All of his wines are bottled without additions. 

The intricate literary references and metaphors are rather perfect reflections of the wines Mitch produces. Thoroughly enjoyable to drink, but intellectual, intricate, and cerebrally stimulating.
