Sourced from four grape varieties, Peter Wetzer's Ság offers a rich texture, possibly even more diverse. After undergoing an extended wild fermentation, it ages gracefully in traditional Hungarian oak barrels. Remarkably, these vines, situated on the inclines of the dormant Ság volcano, have been thriving for around a hundred years. The wine teases with hints of wood-infused spice, muted tropical undertones, apple, lemon, and nuts draped in toffee, all thanks to its oak maturation. The presence of minerality is unmistakable. A delightful ensemble to savor.
