Students will gain a solid foundation in the world of Spanish wine in an accessible and engaging way.

Spain is home to over 130 DOs and DOCas. SWE introduces you to 23 of the most influential Spanish appellations. Grape varieties, wine profiles and labelling terms are all explored. Each wine is presented within a regional and cultural context. Local landmarks and traditional cuisines are also highlighted.

What you will learn

The comprehensive course structure includes a 95-page study guide, access to interactive e-learning and support from expert educators to guide you through a sensory adventure across Spain. The program is available in a flexible online format or via in-person classes at one of our global Course Providers.

Fine Print

If you fail the exam you may re-sit for a fee.

Students withdrawing from the course within 72 hours of commencement will forfeit 20% of the course fee.

The course can be cancelled by Cardwell Cellars up to the day before the commencement of the first class. All fees will be refunded in this case.
