Vinkara's tale dates back to the 1960s when the group purchased land in the Kalecik region in Ankara. With over20 years of experience in the construction business in the USA market, the group's first generation owners decided to invest in land in the Anatolian region due to the quality of Anatolian soil and viniculture potential. As a result, Vinkara's venture into viniculture began in 2003-2004 with the cultivation of their vineyards on 22 acres of land. The company's goal was to develop and carry centuries-old tradition of viniculture into the future in Kalecik by employing contemporary resources.
