From Pyramid Valley’s Angel Flower vineyard in Central Otago, planted on schist and glacial soils at elevation, this Pinot Noir shows a lighter, more lifted profile. The nose opens with red cherry, wild strawberry, and rose, with a fine herbal note and a faint earthy edge. The palate is supple, with fine tannins and a clear line of acidity carrying red fruit. A mineral thread runs through the wine, giving shape and persistence. The finish is long, savoury, and gently stony.
