From the Brézé plateau, where shallow soils sit over dense tuffeau limestone, this Chenin Blanc shows a more tensile, mineral expression. The nose is tightly held, opening to lemon peel, quince, and a fine floral note, marked by a strong chalk presence. The palate is precise and driven, with a firm line of acidity and a compact core of orchard fruit. There is a clear sense of structure, with phenolic grip adding shape through the mid-palate. The finish is long, stony, and saline, with a persistent chalky impression.
