Drawn from old vine Chenin Blanc in the Barossa Valley, where sandy soils and dry conditions give both concentration and retained acidity.
Fermentation takes place in a mix of vessels, followed by élevage on lees to build texture without excess weight. Oak, where used, remains in the background.
Quince, yellow apple and citrus lead, with a light waxy note. The palate is mid-weight, with texture through the middle and a firm, dry finish.
