Place of Changing Winds Harcourt Marsanne Roussanne 2023

Drawn from the Harcourt vineyard within Bendigo, where granite soils and elevation give a cooler, slower ripening profile for Rhône white varieties.

Fermentation takes place in a mix of vessels, followed by élevage on lees to build texture without excess weight. Oak is present but restrained, used to shape rather than mark the wine.

Pear, quince and stone fruit lead, with a light waxy note and a savoury edge. The palate is mid-weight, with texture through the middle and a firm, dry finish.
