Founded in 2017, ex-sommelier Ian Dai Hongjing, is a travelling negoçiant / 'nomad winery' that produces idiosyncratic cuvées experimenting with extended maceration, alternative varieties, and multi-vintage blending.
Directly translating to ‘Little Garden’ , Xiao Pu wines are a product of nature, made with sustainable practices and respect for the land and its people. Ian Dai works with long-term partners who share the vision of sustainable agriculture and modern farming philosophies.
This is a field blend of many grapes: Merlot, Syrah, and Dunkelfelder. Very dense dark fruit, a really generous mid-palate of beautiful fruit, very generous mid-palate brimming with juicy blackberries and cherries.
