AT Roca Reserva Brut 2019

Aromas of kaffir lime, lemon zest and yuzu tantalize the nose, while subtle astringency from grapefruit zest adds a hint of complexity. On the palate, notes of cantaloupe, feijoa and white peach flesh provide a delightful balance to the grassy, vegetal and herbaceous elements such as asparagus, celery stalk, lemon thyme, sorrel leaf and green tea leaves. A delicate florality of courgette flower and white petals is also present in the background. This wine has an excellent spuma that fills the mouth with a soft texture and intrepid flavours. The finish is smooth and sophisticated with beeswax, brioche and lemon curd flavors lingering on the tongue. All in all, this wine is bright, refined, expressive and persistent - making it an ideal pairing for Thai food.
