Xiao Pu Red For Summer 2019

Founded in 2017, ex-sommelier Ian Dai Hongjing, is a travelling negoçiant / 'nomad winery' that produces idiosyncratic cuvées experimenting with extended maceration, alternative varieties, and multi-vintage blending.

Directly translating to ‘Little Garden’ , Xiao Pu wines are a product of nature, made with sustainable practices and respect for the land and its people. Ian Dai works with long-term partners who share the vision of sustainable agriculture and modern farming philosophies.

50% Welschriesling, 25% Marselan and 25% Syrah from Helan Mountain, Ningxia. Generous ripe red fruits, shiitake mushroom, cumin, and black tea leaves. Great as a savoury chilled red, paired with pork dumplings.
