Vin Jaune is the Jura’s most iconic wine, made exclusively from Savagnin and aged for over six years under a veil of yeast (voile) in barrel without topping up. This oxidative process yields a deeply complex, golden wine with flavours of walnut, curry, dried fruit, and saline minerality. Bottled in the distinctive 620ml clavelin, Vin Jaune is powerful, long-lived, and uniquely expressive of the Jura’s traditional methods and terroir.
