Parley ‘Heartbreaker’ NV

From the producer: Heartbreaker is a creative and experimental wine vinified using the Ripasso method made famous by the Valpolicella Ripasso DOC of Italy. A portion of our 2022 Midnight Disco base wine was kept aside in a stainless steel ready and waiting for vintage 2023. When our fruit started to arrive in March of 2023, we added the skins and bunches of direct-pressed sauvignon blanc, chardonnay and pinot noir to kick of the re-fermentation process ripasso style. After a few days the ferment kicked off, but keeping inline with the theme of exploration, we continued to add more freshly pressed skins and bunches to the rolling ferment. 

Once the ferment went dry we pressed it off to seasoned French barrique for
elevage. After 10 months in barrel the wine was bottled in February of 2024 with
only 1133 bottles produced. Easy to drink, and so pourable - it’s our pick for the summer!
