Sette 'Medusa' Vino Bianco 2023

Medusa is Agricola Sette’s dry, skin-contact expression of Moscato Bianco. The fruit comes from organically farmed vines on sandy, limestone-flecked soils in the Asti hills, picked for tension rather than sugar. A short maceration brings texture and a gentle, pithy grip, muting Moscato’s florals into something more savoury: mandarin oil, quince, wild herbs and bergamot bitterness. Fermented spontaneously and raised in steel with minimal handling, the 2023 shows a cool, stony clarity beneath its aromatic robe. It’s a lean, modern Piedmontese white, shaped as much by restraint as by grape variety.
