White WineTissot Patchwork Chardonnay 2022
A lot of character in common with white Burgundy, but the concentration here is uniquely Jura-like. Doughy brioche, some crunchy green apple pulp, pulverized apple skins and a smoky mineral gravel core.
From a mix of sites and soils, this is, as the name suggests, a patchwork chardonnay pieced together from across the estate.
The entry-point for many attempting to penetrate the enigma of the great white wines of the Jura. Tissot produces some of my favourite white wines from the region vintage after vintage.
