Crafted by the dynamic duo, Lichtenberger-Gonzalez, this blend primarily features Rotburger (previously known as Zweigelt). Their vision is to showcase the unique limestone (Muschelkalk) and schist terrains of Burgenland's Leithaberg DAC. The Muschelkalk Rot undergoes fermentation in open containers for a month and matures in expansive oak barrels for nearly a year. With hints of violet and freshly-picked cherries, coupled with gentle tannins and remarkable elegance, this wine stands out as one of the most captivating representations of the Leithaberg landscape we've encountered.
