Gut Oggau Atanasius 2022

Gut Oggau winery, nestled in the picturesque town of Oggau, Austria, is a top-notch winery founded by Eduard and Stephanie Tscheppe. The winery is situated in an abandoned 17th century winery, which the couple painstakingly restored, including a 200-year-old press. The winery cultivates grapes using biodynamic principles, resulting in exquisite wines that showcase unique personalities. The winery attributes these distinct personalities to the one-of-a-kind characteristics of the grapes and the surrounding environment.

A blend of Zweigelt and Blaufränkisch, two local red varieties in Burgenland that combine together wonderfully. It opens with a flourish of red fruit and fresh flowers, a hint of smouldering earth and smoke and finishes bright and clean.
