Marco Abella Loidana 2021

The Marco Abella Winery is located in Porrera one of the famous Priorat Villages barely 1.5 hours south of Barcelona. The Loidana range brings to life the virtues of Marco Abella highest plots, expressing the authenticity, typicity and essence of the Priorat region. Loidana is a woman’s name used in the Middle Ages and appears in the family tree of the Marco family.

55% Grenache, 40% Carignan with a touch of 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. Aging for 9-10 months in French oak barrels

This classic Priorat has an intense aroma with lots of fresh red fruit. Strawberry predominates and raspberries, with notes of blue flowers, cedar, and toast. Dusty tannins, and a savoury finish. Delicious for lovers of old world wine.
