Sparkling WineMilan Nestarec Danger 380 Volts Pet Nat 2021
The origins of this wine were undeniably risky: in 2012, on Milan's first attempt to make sparkling wine, the batch was bottled with too much residual sugar, turning the warehouse into a chaotic scene as bottles began to explode at random—about 5,000 of them in total. Coming to terms with the loss of both the wine and the effort invested took some time, but it wasn’t long before the project was underway again. By spring 2017, the second attempt was ready for tasting, and the result was phenomenal—brimming with refreshment and energy.
As the wine was tasted alongside his wife, an electric transformer nearby caught their attention, complete with the infamous "Danger 380V" sign. In that instant, the name and label were born.
Each year, the wine is crafted from grapes grown on the same sandy vineyard, known as Sahary. This single-vineyard field blend includes Neuburger for personality, Müller for drinkability, and Muscat to add an aromatic kick.
