Domaine du Bouchot Pouilly-Fumé Vin Orange 2021

Since 1966, Domaine du Bouchot has been crafting wines of distinction. The 10-hectare estate is located in the traditional region of Pouilly-Fumé on the right bank of the Loire Valley. In 2018, Antoine Gouffier and his wife took over the estate, bringing modern views to this classic area.

Their Sauvignon Blanc is grown biodynamically with a Demeter certification.. If you like Campari or Negroni, you will love the 2021 Orange with its herbal character reminiscent of fennel and dill, plus a bitter twist thanks to six months of skin contact. It’s fresh and firm with a phenolic grip, white pepper sprinkle and elderflower-like character on the pure finish. The 2021 is balanced and clean. 92 points, Rebecca Gibb, Vinous.
