This is a field blend of many grapes: Syrah, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Welschriesling, Muscat of Hamburg, Marselan, Dunkelfelder, Malbec. It's also multi-vintage, bottled in 2025.
The wine is full of character, with dense dark and red fruit, but also a firm thread of soy and mushroom umami that runs through the core of black cherry, black plums, concentrated figs, chestnuts, and star anise. With a slight leafiness, this a great crowd pleaser.
