A forerunner in showcasing Chile's ancient vine wines to a global audience, Roberto Henriquez is already a familiar name to many. Having pursued his studies in agronomy and enology at the University of Concepción, Roberto's passion for wine took him across the globe. He spent time absorbing winemaking techniques in South Africa, Canada, and notably, in France's Loire Valley. There, he was deeply inspired by the organic and biodynamic approaches of renowned winemaker Rene Mosse. Upon his return to Chile, Roberto was meticulous in identifying local vineyards that not only emanated a sense of purity but also echoed the distinctiveness of Chile’s indigenous grape varieties. Since 2015, he has been crafting wines both in the Itata region and near his ancestral home in Bío Bío.
