Recaredo Corpinnat Serral del Vell Brut Nature 2018

From Recaredo’s Serral del Vell, an historic estate parcel on limestone soils in the Penedès, this Brut Nature is produced in the traditional method from biodynamically farmed vineyards and aged extensively on lees. The blend is led by Xarel·lo, with Macabeu in support. The nose opens with lemon peel, baked apple, and white flowers, with pronounced autolytic notes of brioche and toasted nuts. The palate is dry and structured, with firm acidity carrying citrus and orchard fruit. The mousse is fine and persistent, adding texture without weight. The finish is long, saline, and stony, with a lightly savoury edge.
