From Pyramid Valley’s Mānatu vineyard in Central Otago, planted on schist and glacial soils at elevation, this Chardonnay is shaped by cool conditions and biodynamic farming. The nose opens with lemon peel, white peach, and nectarine, with a light almond note and a faint struck-match edge. The palate is compact, with a firm acid line carrying citrus and stone fruit. A mineral thread runs through the wine, giving shape and persistence. The finish is long, dry, and lightly saline.
