“My pick, so far, from Muto’s recent submission. The bottle looks kinda serious, but the wine is quite playful. Tart and savoury opening. Rhubarb, sour cherry, blood orange, rose jam and red liquorice. The juice is light and frisky with a bitter textural element to medium and slightly gummy tannins, savoury and moreish, no less. Minty lift at the end and more of the crunchy bright red cherry. Love the Pinot-esque-ness about it!
