La Gritona Reposado Tequila

Produced in the highlands of Jalisco at La Gritona, this is 100% Blue Weber Agave, cooked in traditional brick ovens, roller-milled, and fermented in open tanks. Distillation is followed by around eight months in well-used American oak, giving a restrained reposado profile. The palate sits on cooked agave, citrus and light herbal notes, with soft oak influence, a touch of vanilla and a gently savoury edge. The texture is clean and direct, with a dry, peppered finish that keeps the spirit focused rather than sweet.
