Ktima Gerovassiliou Malagousia Vielles Vignes 2022

After Vangelis Gerovassiliou’s tremendous efforts to rescue it from extinction, this wine was exclusively crafted from the Greek Malagousia grape. The wine undergoes skin contact to extract aromas, and then partially ferments in French oak barrels before maturing on lees for several months, developing floral notes and complex flavors. Its greenish shades highlight its brilliant straw color.

Aroma-wise, it exudes a blend of matured fruit like pear, mango, and citrus. Upon tasting, one can experience the rich flavors of lemon peel that elevate the overall mouthfeel and lead to a satisfying, balanced finish.
