Heimann & Fiai Szekszárd Kadarka 2022

A project led by the younger generation of the family, Zoltan Heimann Jr is focusing on the indigenous grape varieties Kadarka and Kékfrankos (Blaufränkisch) and creating wines with minimal human intervention.

Grapes are hand-harvested and vinified with a hands off approach by using whole-bunch pressing and wild fermentation. Indigenous to eastern Europe, Kadarka is soft and elegant, with typical notes of cherries, autumn leaves and bell peppers. A great Hungarian take on the contemporary natural winemaking style.
