Gustavo Martinez Kilako Moscatel de Alejandria 2021

Gustavo Martinez have been producing Natural Wines since 2015 in Florida, Biobío Region, Itata Valley, Chile.  Experimenting with País, Cinsault, Moscatel, Carignan and Chasselas, with no filtration or clarification, these are truly raw wines.

Gustavo works closely with 5 families of small vine growers, who only produce grapes, to cultivate soils with with the aid of nature and wildlife. Gustavo believes that zero pesticides brings him closer to the vines, deepening a close relationship and mutual commitment. and take care of their vineyards without the use of pesticides. With each of them we have a close relationship of friendship and mutual commitment.

This Moscatel de Alejandria spends two weeks on skins, then two months in steel tanks, finally being finished in oak for 3 or 4 months before bottling.

It's a sprightly, slightly grippy, snappy, flowery amber wine that's delicious - and fantastic value.
