Domaine du Clos du Fief 'La Roche' Beaujolais Villages 2024

Drawn from steep, stony vineyards around Juliénas, where granite and schist soils give Gamay its trademark lift and purity, The Tête family, now in its fourth generation, farms sustainably and vinifies with a deft touch to highlight fruit brightness over weight. 

The fruit is hand harvested from 60-year-old vineyards on stony, ancient alluvial soil, facing southeast. Indigenous yeasts, 10-day semi-carbonic maceration. During elevage, there is only concrete used. Domaine du Clos du Fief does not use oak in any of their wines, keeping them more compact and concentrated without losing vitality.
