From the Corcelette lieu-dit in Morgon, Domaine Daniel Boulard works with old-vine Gamay planted on sandy, granitic soils at the northern edge of the cru. Vinification follows a semi-carbonic approach with whole bunches, then élevage in older oak to retain fruit definition. The 2024 shows red cherry, raspberry and violet with a light spice note and a faintly earthy undertone. The tannins are fine and supple, with a fresh line of acidity carrying through a clean, mineral finish shaped by the granitic site.
