From the Châtenay sector in Chiroubles, Domaine Daniel Bouland farms Gamay on high-altitude, sandy granitic soils, where cooler conditions preserve lift and aromatic detail. Vinification is with whole bunches in a semi-carbonic approach, followed by élevage in older oak. The 2024 shows red cherry, raspberry and violet with a light spice note. The palate is fine-boned and precise, with supple tannins and a clean, mineral line that carries through a fresh finish.
