This wine comes from the Olive Tree Hill vineyard on the Bannockburn estate in Geelong,. The site sits on volcanic soils with a limestone component, giving a structured, finely held expression within the estate’s pinot range.
Fermentation includes a portion of whole bunch, with extraction kept measured. Élevage takes place in French oak, used to support the wine without overt influence.
The 2024 shows red cherry, cranberry and spice, with a light savoury edge. The palate is mid-weight, with fine tannins and a clean, persistent line through the finish.
