Bloody Hill Villages Coldstream Chardonnay 2025

Bloody Hill vineyard is cultivated by father-son duo Timo Mayer and Rivar Ferguson-Mayer. These days, Rivar is taking more of an active role in the vineyard and winery, bringing his own creative vision to the wines. Excitingly, new vine plantings have been introduced to the Mayer estate exclusively for Bloody Hill, promising intriguing future vintages.

Mendoza clone Chardonnay is whole-bunch pressed straight to old oak. The wine doesn't see malolactic conversion. Tight and citrus driven, the 2025 vintage is chalky and bright, showing just-ripe stone fruit, grapefruit, and lemon pith.
