This is a field blend of many grapes: 51% Syrah, 25% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay, 5% Welschriesling, 5% Muscat Hamburg, 2% Marselan, 2% Dunkelfelder from Ningxia. Bottled in 2025. It's also multi-vintage, bottled in 2025.
The wine is full of character, with dense dark and red fruit, but also a firm thread of soy and mushroom umami that runs through the core of black cherry, black plums, concentrated figs, chestnuts, and star anise. With a slight leafiness, this a great crowd pleaser.
