From Santa Barbara County, Two Wolves Wine works with Petit Verdot sourced from warm inland sites where the variety can ripen fully. The estate farms organically, with a focus on low yields and precise canopy management. Fruit is hand-harvested, fermented with indigenous yeasts, and aged in French oak. The 2019 shows blackberry, dark plum and violet with notes of cocoa, spice and a light herbal edge. The palate is structured and concentrated, with firm tannins and a dense, persistent finish.
