Apostolos Thymiopoulos Rosé de Xinomavro 2024

Apostolos Thymiopoulos is deeply committed to Xinomavro, the signature black grape variety of Naoussa, in northern Greece. In his family winery, the grape realises its ability to express terroir, and produce age-worthy wines with structure, acidity, and perfume reminiscent of Nebbiolo.

This rosé is dry and full-bodied, showing wild strawberries, blood orange, and subtle spice on the nose. On the palate it's crisp and savoury, with texture and subtle creaminess from maturation in seasoned oak. A versatile wine that works well as an aperitif, or paired with seafood and pork dishes.
