Recaredo Corpinnat Subtil Brut Nature 2019

From Recaredo in Corpinnat, working biodynamically farmed vineyards on limestone in the Penedès, this Brut Nature is produced in the traditional method and aged extensively on lees. The blend is led by Xarel·lo, with Macabeu in support. The nose opens with lemon peel, green apple, and white flowers, with a fine autolytic note and a light savoury edge. The palate is dry and structured, with firm acidity carrying citrus and orchard fruit. The mousse is fine and persistent, adding texture without weight. The finish is long, saline, and stony.
