Drawn from the KK01 planting on the Mornington Peninsula, a tightly defined site within the Quealy holdings, giving a more detailed and structured expression.
Fermentation includes a higher portion of whole bunch, with extraction kept controlled. Élevage is longer and more considered, in French oak, shaping tannin and length without overt influence.
Red cherry, raspberry and spice lead, with a more pronounced savoury and mineral edge. The palate is mid-weight, with finer but more persistent tannins and a longer, more structured finish.
