Raúl Moreno 'La Esencia' Tinto 2023

The Esencia is a red wine with the personality of a white, its main characteristics being fruit purity, freshness and salinity. A portion of the juice is fermented in 1000-litre clay amphora, on skins for two weeks with gentle hand plunging, this gives more flavour and develops aromatic notes of cedar, dried roses and spice. The rest goes into stainless steel, this portion becomes the backbone of the wine providing freshness, fruit intensity and aromatic essence. It is aged for 7 months. The tannins are very well-integrated thanks to the clay and are quite chalky.
