From parcels across Anjou, Domaine La Roulerie works with Cabernet Franc planted on schist and clay, farmed organically with a focus on fruit purity and balance. ‘Cep by Cep’ is fermented in stainless steel with a relatively short maceration and raised briefly to retain brightness. The 2024 shows red currant, cherry and raspberry with a light herbal edge and a touch of graphite. The tannins are fine and supple, carrying a fresh, clean line through the palate with a gently savoury finish.
