Kerri Greens Samphire Sauvignon Blanc 2025

Kerri Greens describes this wine as "Sauvy B, but not like you know it.' Textural, racy, with much in common with the winemaking approach of the Loire Valley. Think green apples, lemon curd, and white flowers.

Sourced from two vineyards in Dromana that were established in the 1980s, grapes are hand-picked and whole bunch pressed, preserving their delicate aromas. After wild-fermenting in steel tanks, the wine rests on lees in old oak barriques for four months to build up some texture and richness, before finishing maturation back in stainless to settle.

Kerri Greens was founded by Alsace-born viticulture Lucas Blanck and Tom McCarthy in 2015, as a creative outlet to complement their work at Quealy, the pioneering organic estate on the Mornington Peninsula. Co-owned by Lucas and his wife Alyce since 2023, Kerri Greens produces wines from four organically-farmed vineyards around Balnarring, on the Peninsula's eastern foothills.
