From vineyards around Cornaiano in Alto Adige, Cantina Girlan blends Lagrein, Vernatsch (Schiava) and Pinot Noir from sites between roughly 400 and 500 metres. Fermented in stainless steel with a short élevage, the 2024 shows red cherry and cranberry with a light alpine herb edge. Lagrein provides depth and colour, Vernatsch keeps the palate supple, and Pinot Noir brings lift and fine tannin. The finish is clean and structured, built for the table.
