From Maxime Graillot’s Equis project, sourcing Syrah from steep, granite-based vineyards in Saint-Joseph, this cuvée shows a compact, structured profile. The nose opens with black cherry, cassis, and violet, with graphite, black pepper, and a light smoky note. The palate is structured, with fine-grained tannins and a mineral line carrying dark fruit and savoury spice. Acidity is bright and direct. The finish is long, dry, and persistent, marked by pepper, stone, and a faint ferrous edge.
