Domaine Daniel Bouland Morgon Délys Vignes de 1926 2024

From a parcel planted in 1926 in Morgon, Domaine Daniel Bouland works with old-vine Gamay on decomposed granite with a meaningful clay component. Vinification is with whole bunches in a semi-carbonic approach, followed by élevage in older oak. The 2024 shows black cherry, plum and violet with notes of spice, liquorice and a light earthy depth. The palate is structured and concentrated, with firm, persistent tannins and a broad, steady line through a long, mineral finish.
