From the Corcelette sector of Morgon, Domaine Daniel Bouland works with old-vine Gamay rooted in deep, sandy granitic soils. Vinification is with whole bunches in a semi-carbonic approach, followed by élevage in older oak. The 2024 shows red cherry and raspberry with rose and a light spice note. The palate is finely structured, with supple tannins and a clean, even line, carrying a gently mineral, lifted finish shaped by the sandy site.
