Domaine Daniel Bouland

Red Wine

Domaine Daniel Bouland Côte de Brouilly Cuvée Mélanie 2024

From the slopes of Mont Brouilly, Domaine Daniel Bouland farms Gamay on blue volcanic rock (diorite) with a strong mineral signature. Vinification is with whole bunches in a semi-carbonic approach, followed by élevage in older oak. The 2024 shows dark cherry and blackberry with violet, spice and a faint ferrous note. The palate is structured, with firm, finely shaped tannins and a steady, mineral line through the finish.
