Domaine Camille Thiriet Bourgogne Rouge En La Place 2023

From a single parcel in the Hautes-Côtes de Nuits, Domaine Camille Thiriet works with Pinot Noir farmed along organic lines on limestone soils at elevation. Camille Thiriet’s approach is deliberately low-intervention: hand harvesting, a meaningful proportion of whole bunch, indigenous fermentation, and very gentle extraction, followed by élevage in neutral oak with minimal sulphur and no fining or filtration. The 2023 shows red cherry, cranberry and rose with a light spice note and a faint savoury edge. The palate is finely textured, with supple tannins and a clear, lifted line, carrying a precise, mineral finish shaped by the high-altitude site.
